GUITAR CLASSES
Welcome to Let's Practice! Music Academy, where we teach how to perform and appreciate music and how to practice independently.
Jackson, M.M., began his musical studies and performance on the piano at age 10, winning a local music competition in his native home in Tennessee. He later switched his focus to guitar, dazzled by the poetic warmth and rich sonorities the instrument has become known for in the world classical community. With his background in harmony through the piano and classical guitar, he additionally picked up the electric guitar, focusing on rock, blues, jazz, and 20th century classical. While completing his B.A. in Music from the University of North Carolina Asheville, he became a regular performing artist for the Guitar Society of the Western Carolinas, performing throughout the Southeast. Now in Denver, he performs guitar and keyboards in local progressive rock band Renegade Royalty and is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Lamont School of Music of the University of Denver.
